All governmental entities require that a firm provide proof of the firms’ incorporation in order to do business with the government entity.

Opening Bids

  • Bids are received by the due date at the City Clerk’s Office.
  • Bids for construction projects or repairs on a public building are opened publicly and the price is read.
  • The Procurement Department reviews all submissions, conducts reference checks and creates the tabulation sheets.
  • The tabulation sheets are forwarded to the user Department. The user Department prepares an agenda item for award of contract.

Payment Terms

  • The City is only making payments for any contract in excess of $25,000 via e-payables.
  • The City of Hallandale Beach requires the acceptance of the following e-payable for all work/services rendered as a result of the award of a solicitation.
  • The City has implemented an e-payables payment process utilizing both VISA and MASTERCARD networks. Payments from this contract will be made utilizing the City’s e-payable payment process in lieu of a check. Contractor will receive payment from the VISA and/or MASTERCARD in the same manner as other credit card purchases. Accordingly, your firm must presently have the ability to accept these credit cards before the start of the contract term, or contract award by the City. The City reserves the right to revise this program as necessary.
