Code Compliance Division
The COVID-19 Pandemic is a fluid situation, and the guidance from authorities is changing rapidly. The City of Hallandale Beach, Code Compliance Division remains committed to the health and safety of our residents and staff. Our page provides temporary precautionary changes to protect City employees and the public by limiting person-to-person contact.
Due to recent spikes in Covid-19 cases, starting Monday, July 27, 2020, we will be scaling back on our hours of operations. City Hall will open to the public Monday and Wednesday from 8 am to 4 pm.
The most effective way to report your concern/issue/question is by emailing us at:firstname.lastname@example.org You may also contact us by calling our report line at (954) 457-1390.
As a property owner or resident, you are aware of how the appearance of your property can impact the overall image of your street, neighborhood, and City as a whole. As a means of ensuring our neighborhoods are well-kept and in good condition, the City of Hallandale Beach Code of Ordinances specifies minimum standards for housing, yards, parking, etc. These standards protect property owners by ensuring neighboring properties will not be left to deteriorate and become unattractive.
Many residents are unaware of the City's requirements pertaining to general property maintenance and zoning. This site has been developed to assist residents in understanding some of the City’s requirements and includes the most common code violations, a section advising residents how to bring their property up to code, and general tips and information pertaining to Code Violations and Code Compliance.
