Human Resources/Risk Management Department
The City of Hallandale Beach Human Resources/Risk Management Department functions as a strategic business partner collaborating with all City Departments. The Department consists of a team of dedicated staff who seek to engage, attract, develop, support, and retain the best workforce to serve the residents of Hallandale Beach. The department serves approximately 500 full-time and part-time employees.

Risk Management Division
The Risk Management Division is a service provider, working closely with all operating departments within the City in an effort to protect the City’s financial, physical, and human resources more effectively. The division is staffed with experts in the following areas: safety, loss control, claims management, occupational safety and health, insurance, and risk financing.The City’s workers’ compensation and liability insurances fall under Risk Management. Office, liability, auto, property, general and workers’ compensation claims are processed and coordinated among employees, carriers, and adjusters through the Risk Management division. Risk Management includes the direction of safety efforts to reduce employee accident/injury incidents.
