The Phone/Text Communications Alerts / eAlerts (CodeRED) emergency notification system is a communication service available for emergency and non-emergency notifications. This system employs intranet mapping capable of geographic targeting of calls, coupled with a telephone calling system capable of delivering a pre-recorded message directly to homes and businesses at the rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour.
Purpose: The system's main purpose is to notify citizens or groups of citizens in emergency situations; however the system has the ability to be used for non-emergency notifications as well. The City of Hallandale Beach makes this service available to our citizens, so make sure we have an active phone number for you. Follow the link below to register for notification of emergencies.
